Oxdog Open 2026 - Back Again

The excitement is building once again as the Cambridge Floorball Club gears up for the 4th annual Oxdog Open Floorball Tournament, taking place May 9–10, 2026 at the University of Guelph’s Mitchell Athletic Centre. What started as a small, passionate event has now grown into one of Ontario’s most anticipated floorball weekends—and this year promises to be the biggest and best one yet.

A Tournament That Keeps Growing

When the Oxdog Open first launched, the dream was simple: create a competitive, welcoming, and high-energy event that showcased the best of Canadian floorball. Four years later, that dream has taken off in a big way.

The tournament has grown by over 60% since its inception, drawing teams from across the province and beyond. More divisions, more talent, and more community involvement have helped solidify the Oxdog Open as a key date on the floorball calendar.

We’re especially proud to continue our partnership with Special Olympics Ontario and PowerHockey Canada for another year. Their athletes bring unmatched energy, dedication, and heart to the tournament—reminding everyone why inclusive sport matters.
